I am personally responsible for developing and nurturing a the definitive East Coast netplay events for Guilty Gear Xrd REV2, my fighting game of choice. From supplying potential players with paid copies, to running, commentating, moderating, and even competing in our biweekly tournaments, I’ve created a thriving community for a game otherwise left to niche devices. Frequented by world class players (such as Crocs n Socks, Solstice, Yousagi and more) and beginners alike, we alternate between Guilt-a-Gear Workshop, an open lobby for learning the game, and Dustbowl, our professionally hosted Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 tournaments. My services continue to thrive by assisting in other large scale FGC projects such as TSB and WASD as well.
TSB
TSB is our premier New York based Esports community. A definitive stop for all things anime FGC. With a long history operating out of Next Level in Brooklyn NY, I’ve been appointed as a new head for the future of TSB’s fighting game endeavors. With a consistent monthly scene, we run tournaments with over 50 attendees and 6+ games. When we’re not operating at our local venue, we’re instead helping to facilitate other large scale events and majors for the east coast, including but not limited to East Coast Throwdown, D.I.Y., and Combo Breaker. While we always run all 3 definitive Guilty Gears, there is always room to grow- we invite you to bring whatever you want to play, and we’ll rock it.
Collegiate Outreach
But it doesn’t stop there. As a host for local events, Tiamat Syndicate (a local Bronx organization of which I lend assistance to) would be nothing if not an avenue for aspiring local talent to expand their horizons and meet with the competition they crave. Our collegiate outreach includes facilitating college tournaments, scouting talent within academia, and providing the lesser-known capillaries of NYC with a venue and network to interact with and compete with a growing Esports scene that they would otherwise be unable to remain active in- be it finances, anemic facilities, or even just distance.
